the eight cents solution

this tuesday, there was choices in reading. There was there groups, Mr b's,miss hackett's,and miss cross'. Then we chose which one we wanted to read. In miss Hackett's, we read this story about fact and opinion with questions .

fact or fib

Fact means its true and fib mean its not true. for writing this week, we did fact or fib when we wrote some statements and write if its fact or fib and write an explaination on it

number lines.

This thursday i looked at how to order fractions using number lines. i think this is lpg is number 12- order improper fractions

12x12 grid math activity

This week we played this math activity that Mr Buckland taught us . We first make a 12x12 grid and some one roll the two dices. What ever number they get, they say it and we times them together and we have to put a box with however much the answer is. 

Freeze frame

Today for reading, instead of groups today our whole class did reading together . After we read it, we did a Freeze frame. This is when when you draw a important event in the story. Then you describe it and write why it is important.

School trips at hps

This monday we chose a topic for  persuasive writing . At thursday, we published them in this card
. This is lpg 6-i can write an argument about a selected topic.

At monday, we get to pick what we work on at math. I decided to order fractions. this is lpg 12- ordering improper fractions

This week for writing, we published the writing we did last week. we are also planning to make a booklet for our writing.  This was lpg 13 I can write about the topic using a range of ideas and have added detail to some of them. My writing have not been printed so this is my writing

     Mystery in the city 1.8.17

“I wonder whats happening there,”Rebekah thought. As she turned around , a noisy crowd of people filled the city . Suddenly, the craziest image was right in front of her. A crowd of police’s with black gear with sheids,ropes,helmets and other equipments was middle of the city. They looked kinda like guard dogs growling people away.  She tried to rush on the slippery road and jump on a tall box so Rebekah can see what they were doing. All she could see was a girl standing  at the opposite side of her . It was like a confusing puzzle.The choices was to figure it out, or do what Rebekah was doing. Before she could think, they were all gone.

3D shapes

Last week we did art with hot coloured 2D shapes. This week we made 3D shapes when we were able to make any 3D shape with paper.
